A working meeting of the ReadTREAT project team was held at the Palace of Science in Belgrade. The project is funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia under the Diaspora 2023 program (project no. #17473).
Led by Dr Milica Janković (Principal Investigator), the session gathered researchers from all work packages to review progress, align on ongoing data collection and analysis, and define next steps for implementing and refining contactless systems to assess reading difficulties. The team also set out a dissemination plan, prioritizing presentations at scientific conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
The Serbian team welcomed Prof. Dr Olga Borić-Lubecke and Prof. Dr Victor Lubecke of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, with Prof. Dr Yao Zheng joining remotely. Their input deepened the technical discussion and further strengthened collaboration between the Serbian and U.S. teams.
